When you submit an inquiry or booking-related form (for example a retreat, corporate, experience, or guest-list request), we collect what you enter — typically your name, email address, and details about your stay or event. If you join our newsletter, we collect your email address. You never have to provide more than you're comfortable with; forms only ask for what we need to respond.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — pages viewed, buttons clicked, device and browser type, and approximate (city-level) location. We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure whether our marketing on Instagram and Facebook leads to visits and bookings. Both run only if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are set and nothing is collected by these tools; the site works identically either way. Reservations and payments are handled by trusted third-party providers — our booking engine (Guesty, at book.cloud9resorts.com) and payment platform (ChargeAutomation). Your payment card details are collected and processed by those providers, not by this website, and are protected under their security standards and privacy policies. We receive the booking information needed to host you: your name, contact details, stay dates, and party size.
To respond to your inquiries, manage and improve your stay, send communications you've asked for, understand how our website and marketing perform, and meet legal obligations (such as short-term-rental permit requirements). We keep information only as long as needed for these purposes and for our business records.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate — booking, payments, analytics, and communications — and only what they need to do their job. If you accept cookies, Meta receives limited information about your visit (such as pages viewed) to measure and improve our advertising; declining the banner, or withdrawing consent via the cookie-preferences link above, stops this. We do not sell your personal information.
